Praying for you and your family Bro! Life sure can be a heavy burden to carry sometimes. Let us know how you Dad is doing, I’m praying for a complete recovery and that he can get his biabetes under control as well. I sit not amazing what you can go through and get done when you have to.

Thanks to both Ians! The doctor told my dad last night that this is the easiest surgery he does, which is a good thing. And I’m not sure how I’d deal with full time school and a baby, I’m barely pulling off half time, and right now I’m just taking online classes (this semester and as much as possible). I think my son will be about 3.5 to 4 when I get my Associates degree at this rate. I’ll just pretend I don’t know how old that will make him when I get my Bachelors… :-)

Sorry to hear about this, at least they’ve caught it in time though. My wife’s aunt had the same surgery last year and came through it great. I think the doc’s are really good at these things these days.

Thoughts and prayers from here too…

I totally understand how the whole school/baby thing goes. Andrea had to deal with me being in school full-time from the time Faith was about 1 to the time she was almost 3 1/2… and we had Clara in there too. There were more than a few nights where I didn’t make it to class due to family obligations, and several where Andrea called me home.
