Postini does smaller non-profit online orders now! (Mostly)

Thanks to Rob Shaw from Greenwood Christian Church for commenting on my last post about Postini and letting me know that Google has released Postini at non-profit pricing for their two lower-tier (Message Filtering, $3/year/user before 66% discount, and Message Security, $12/year/user before 66% discount) messaging solutions! Their highest tier, Message Discovery, adds message archiving and is normally $25/user/year with one year of message retention. Message Discovery can still be purchased by non-profits with the discount for orders over $1500, with web-based ordering coming soon still, but web-based ordering for smaller shops has been released for those two lower tiers!

That’s great news Rob, thanks for the heads-up!

Maybe I’m missing something, but I still don’t see where you can select non-profit status online for ordering. :(

I haven’t ordered yet. But I assume you click the Order Now buttons in blue at the top of the screen and go through the steps. It’s on the “education” pricing page; the “retail” page is different and allows online ordering for all three types of account. Google Apps and Co. have always grouped “non-profit” in with “education” accounts, because education came first and they decided to open it up to non-profits as well, later. I assume they verify status later on in the signup process…let me know if you find anything more solid! I will, if/when I get the time to sign up, hopefully soon.
